Maintenance Mechanic
We’re hiring a maintenance mechanic at our Gilbertsville, PA headquarters capable of carrying out the responsibilities listed below. This is a first shift, Monday – Friday position.
Penflex is a leading manufacturer of flexible piping solutions, offering a broad range of metal hose, braid, and expansion joint products. Maintenance mechanics focus on ensuring corrugation and braiding machines continue to run smoothly.
Maintenance mechanic candidates do not need to be machinists, but mechanical knowledge is a requirement. We are looking for mechanics with some background in welding, an understanding of 240/480 3 phase service, basic knowledge of NPT fittings, and the ability to read calipers.
Responsibilities
- Running lathe and Bridgeport machines.
- Troubleshoot basic DC drive boxes. We use OHM and voltmeter.
- Maintain factory light and air lines which are 30 feet above ground.
- Driving forklifts.
